What to Do

When a child turns 18, it can be like it was in the when your child was diagnosed and you started the public benefits process. Your child will typically not be automatically transferred to the adult public health system. Below are a few things to consider. Everything you need to consider is not on the lists and everyone will not need to do everything on the list.

Most of these services and programs are in different places. We have organized the lists so you know who does what.
